As long as it's not you're cleavage (or Helen Thomas'), gratuitous or otherwise is fine.
You would be amazed at how much traffic that simple statement is getting.
"Amazed" could mean a surprisingly lot of traffic...or a surprisingly low amount of traffic.
Just be amazed.

For those wondering, I attempted to post a picture of a biology diagram of a cell splitting with the center marked the "cleavage furrow".Massive fails ensued and it didn't link to a picture, but a bunch of words WITH NO PICTURES.Have a laugh at my expense.
