You may not get along with someone who is calling the shots, but if you listen to what he or she is saying you can certainly get the job done.
Well, that's a no-brainer. I never get along with the people calling the shots and I always get the job done anyway. In real life, it is a normal part of the human condition to not get along with micro-managing pin-heads and still have to do what they tell you so that you don't get fired.
