The President's remarks can be summarized loosely thus:
The patient keeps getting stronger because of all the bleeding we are doing. We are also applying large number of leeches. Still his recovery is very slow. Just imagine how bad his condition would be if we were not taking these actions. We will not falter now but will continue even more bleeding the patient and applying even more leeches to remove the bad humors until the patient fully recovers. We even have plans to add trace amounts of arsenic and mercury to his diet.

I didn't watch it either. But I think it might have contained something to the effect: "you will all be better off if we keep bleeding those rich guys over there".
I never watch it. I do, however, read the transcripts online. It's hilarious.

The post was awesome, the picture of the leech was creepy and gross. I wish I had thought of it myself and I laughed about it several times today.
